The values that guide my practice are to first create a space where everyone feels welcome and second to extend a participant’s experience beyond the class. Because if you have always moved in a certain way and it's not working then you need to shift. If you want different, you have to move different.

Our classes at the studio are created to help you develop a positive relationship with movement, to build connection and strength, and to feel empowered in the process.

You deserve to feel good in your body.

As I began my journey into motherhood, and all that one endures in that process, there was a noticeable shift. After 4 pregnancies, 3 deliveries, and 3 surgeries I wasn’t the same. After the birth of my second daughter, I was left with a debilitating injury that left me completely broken, on all levels. For years, I was trying to figure out what to do and how to feel better. It was my own journey through certifications, mentorships, and courses that not only helped me begin to heal, mentally and physically, but also to be a support for others in their own process.

I am grateful for my own journey of healing through movement and mentorship—it has shown me how resilient the human body and mind can be and the peace you can come to when you find the right people to guide you.

In addition to being a studio owner and trainer, I am a mom of three kids, living on the southwest coast of Norway with my husband and dog. I love being surrounded by nature and appreciating life as it happens every day. You will find me exploring around (and dipping into) the fjord all year round.

Before I worked with Jill, I felt like I was never going to get better.

The pain always came back. When I saw Jill, she did a thorough assessment of my movement and my history. I realized in that moment just how much I had been through. For the first time, I felt seen and heard. We started working together and I am feeling so much better, have much less pain and can train with a group again!”

I first encountered Pilates while working as a professional dancer in London.

I fell in love with the total mind/body focus that Pilates exercises required and wanted to enable others to have that benefit in their everyday lives. I qualified in 2005 with Bodycontrol Pilates and on my return to Stavanger in 2006 and have been enjoying teaching many people in studios around the area since then.

I particularly enjoy bringing Pilates to those who feel too old or unfit due to sickness or trauma and love to see their strength and confidence grow with the practice. I have been fortunate to work alongside Jill for the last few years and have the privilege to continue teaching Pilates.

I have been training with Jill for a year which has resulted in elimination of my sacrum pain and a renewed confidence in my body’s abilities. As someone who has the ability to hyper extend the reformer has given me the much needed feedback to help me really connect with my body. I have a keen interest in empowering people to have confidence in their bodies and was hooked on Pilates when I started to see the changes it had in my body and in my life. I look forward to guiding others out of pain and back into their bodies to give them back what they need to live a full and happy life.
